Meh pass. If I want crazy lighting I would just get a bunch of addressable LED strips. A fan's most important function it to move air.

I am assuming the costs are in US dollars. That is insane to pay the equivalent of almost $200 Canadian to buy 3 fans, There are plenty of options for much less

Of course they will, selling like crazy was the foremost design parameter. Selling like hotcakes was briefly considered, yet thrown out as not evolutionary enough a mindset in degree or magnitude.

as a Corsair fanboy, this particular model is far more inferior than the entire lineup of RGB LED lit fans in their own ecosystem. Heck, even the HD120 RGB has better static pressure than all of the RGB fans I've come across. This iCUE QL RGB is one example of Corsair going after "gamers" with pointless products, instead of the enthusiasts who are looking for both performance & aesthetics.

The only problem with Corsair fan is that they're overpriced. They gotta stay competitive in pricing. My PCCooler fan will put this to shame in the performance/price side.
