Corsair K65 mini purchase, thoughts?

Grabbed this deck on sale for $60 CAD which was $100 off at canada computers

this is my 1st compact design board and I'm impressed so far. The icue software isn't beginner friendly but I've managed to look up how to use it better and its helping. I don't actually mind the switch selection on this model although I ended up with the MX brown version which doesn't bother me as I've had previous experience with browns albeit kaihl switches. Do any other members have this board? love to hear thoughts good or bad on the K65

Unless multiple people come in and tell you the exact same keyboard had the exact same premature failure, or the same manufacturing or design defect, do not pay attention to what others say!

The problem with human interface devices (HIDs) like mice and keyboards, is everyone has unique hands. What feels great in my hand or at the end of my fingertips may feel uncomfortable, awkward, or even painful to you. I for one, do not like compact keyboards. They force me to bend my wrists out when my hands approach the keyboard and before long, my wrists ache. Not good.

And how a key press feels and sounds (mushy or firm, clicky or silent) is as subjective as their favorite color. I personally like a semi-firm press with a distinctive, reassuring click.

I do like the 2nd function key addition as it helps to alleviate missing keys on bigger boards. At the price we both paid for ours, I don't really think we could go wrong I hate windows dynamic lighting tho as it messes with most of my RGB stuff so I've disabled that.

Set hardware profiles in iCUE, then turn it off.
