Corsair announced that they are finally shipping their XPERT memory to retailers.
XPERT has some nice features for the overclocker and case modder like memory activity LEDs and a big LED display on which you can display all kinds of information.
Full Press Release:
Corsair Memory, Inc., a global leader in ultra-performance DDR memory modules for PC gamers and enthusiasts, again raises the bar on enthusiast memory, with an intelligent memory module that monitors and displays critical performance parameters. Dubbed XPERT, this new technology uses an integrated microcontroller and embedded sensors to measure voltage, temperature, and frequency on the memory module. Each of these parameters, along with a user-programmable scrolling marquee can be shown on a big alphanumeric display that is part of the memory module. Corsair XPERT modules also have two rows of memory activity LED's that show real-time memory activity, similar to the popular Corsair PRO series.
