We finally get a mem kit that might beat out having to match the ryzen 3 1:1 fclk 1900 limit by pure frequency oc, and all you do is oc to 3600?

Smoking fast ram... wow... I'd love to read about it...

Why cant I switch pages on chrome (mobile chrome and full desktop)? I only get the first page / packaging.

EDIT: On my desktop too.. only 1 page... is it only me?

Same here, it fades away at the bottom despite continuing, and a Patreon message is there.

I'm not sure how to, but it appears the same in Edge and FireFox.
All other reviews are fine, so the issue appears to be specific to this one.

This RAM ,16 GB is $949.99. will cost the consumer $ 60 per GB, and for $ 1400 even less costs 256 Gb of RAM which is $ 5.47 per GB. Yes this is really an innovation! Running tests with a budget processor is also very realistic at these prices. At least the R3900X should be for the test .

Incognito doesnt work either (mobile chrome and full desktop mode - I'm not at the pc currently). Other reviews are fine for me as well..

"The markings on the ICs seem to be Corsair specific, although Thaiphoon shows that these are Micron chips."

These are Spectek markings, not Corsair. Spectek is a part of the Micron corporation so it's clear they can share IC under any brand.
I'm not sure if this IC is a B-die but it looks different than the E-die. It's scaling about the same but also new B-die are scaling in the same way.

Answering to those who are clueless about high memory OC on Ryzen 3k. IMC simply won't run much past 5000 and most CPUs won't let you pass ~4800 at any settings or with any RAM. I have no idea what IMC has the CPU used in the review but you simply can't expect OC results much above the 5000 mem clock on Ryzen 3k.

Yeah, thanks.
That has already been thoroughly discussed in another thread.

Very strange indeed. Has it fixed itself now or is it still happening? If it does, on your phone too? Even when not using Wi-Fi?
Still the same on the desktop using ethernet, and data on my phone.

Ah I found the problem, it's fixed now.

I added the ability for scheduled review posting a few days ago. What I forgot was to add code that changes the "Patreon Preview" status to "off", when a review gets posted automatically.
This caused the forum post (1st post in this thread) to not get updated, so the "Show full review" link was still going to the single-page version.

Thanks for reporting!

ty w1z!

So, did I understand this right...

It gets a + for good overclocking, yet it can't overclock past its rated speed? It gets this rating for being able to tighten timings when it is running 1400 MHz below its spec? How many people are buying a $900+ kit of RAM for this kind of performance out of the box or to run it at 3600 MHz with tighter timings (that a kit costing 1/9th could do, note).

What about overall performance? It wasn't good compared any of the other, slower and much cheaper sticks. In most tests it was at the middle or bottom 1/2/last, no?

Can you run the I.F. independent of the memory clock speed, or is the ratio always 1/2 of the clock? For instance, can you run 5,000Mhz clock and I.F. at 3600Mhz?

Either way, this ram seems to be a complete waste of money over high-quality 3600 DDR4 with tight timings.

I have the older Corsair ram cooler, the dual fan design.

The fans on it were utter trash. I Ieplaced them with some nice Deltas. I wonder if that new one is easy to swap the fan on.
