CPU Scaling Test Ryzen 3600X at CPU Speed of 3800Mhz 4100Mhz 4250Mhz 4400Mhz 1920x1080 Ultra settings for anyone interested.

I have completed 10+ games tested and just added the 5 games with the most difference in AVG FPS at 1080p.

All gaming experience was the same ,list of games.

Nice test, but I'm seeing only first and third person action games, ie very low CPU load type of games, and only in the most favorable situations most of the time.

This is not very interesting for a CPU test for gaming, to me. This tells me only how those games you tested actually run, its impossible to say anything about the use of this CPU for, say, a game of Civilization VI; or a space sim; or a game like Total War.

Basically you've picked games and situations even much weaker CPUs would perform quite similar at. That means you also miss an opportunity to really show scaling differences. The gist of it now is that you might as well run stock.

Yep stock is a great way to go.Do not own any of the games you mentioned.

Its a shame, it would add a lot of value to your testing to have a more varied set of applications. Not just for me btw. Something to consider, perhaps.

Well I was asked for these test by someone,otherwise I would not bother with 1080p test at all.
I do agree with you about the more varied gaming/applications ,I am no reviewer,just putting some results out there.Really though stock is the best bet for anyone gaming.

A good one to test might be a RTS such as Starcraft 2 or Benches of the Singularity. I found it very interesting all the same. If AMD releases a higher clocked 'Tock' Ryzen 4000 series, say around 4.5GHz, 10+ FPS could be gained on some games even without an IPC increase.

Starcraft 2 is effectively limited to single core. Or two, nowadays. So a good sincle-core test.
Ashes of the Benchmarks (especially the CPU-focused test) is a good CPU test but has almost no real-world relevance.
