So you think it's his i5 and going from non K to a K chip or i7 would fix this as the OP asked?
I'm saying that if he wants to record these games as old as they are I don't think his gtx 950 will struggle to much

Actually he isnt wrong i do run most my current games i play all maxed out at 60 fps and im not unwilling to turn the graphics down a bit.
That's funny cause a lot of people disagree with you in this post and you came here looking for help but have so far ignored people with a lot more knowledge than yourself with regards to your original question, good luck :toast:

I'm more inclined to go along with Rcoon. Also having run The Forest, I can tell you that it's not an old game and requires a lot of GPU to run at max settings, so you and the OP are wrong at least in this case, I haven't played any of the others so can't really comment on them.

From your specs I see you are running an ultrawide 2560x1080 monitor. The GTX 950 is the bottleneck right now if you want more performance but if you are happy with the settings you can run your games at then that is all that matters.
