I'm running 1 gig of Mushkin ram, but in the manufacturer name it says spectek INC. Same company? Do they manufacture Mushkins ram or something? On to the important question the ram is PC4300 what should the actual frequency state in cpu-z? It states 266. I thought ddr2 was supposed to be faster, or am I missing something? Is this multiplied somewhere also? I'm new to tweaking, I finally built a cpu and have time to adjust settings where they might help performance. I'll just try to put screen of cpuz here: These might load slow since they are at Photobucket.

Now I realize this ram isn't the top of the line, I didn't do my research before purchasing these. Now I'm just waiting for some of the great stuff to drop a few bucks and then Ill just get a good set.

It is correct, see your FSB to DRAM ratio, its 3:4 so your bus speed is 800. Mhz. It is quad pumped so your FSB clock is 200Mhz.

& u know just a little bit confusing coz i didn't see 4300 on table ! may becoz it is just a name !

hey , u already pay , IMHO @ first sight just try to optimize & correct ur settings I think It is All About something tricky or misunderstand (or even a tiny jumper tough) ;)

Newegg Worked it out.

After actually paying attention to what cpu-z says, I was a little upset to find out I had spectek ram when I paid for Mushkin. I'm not really sure what happened but I've had this ram for almost 3 months, when I called newegg after a short conversation they offered me a refund on my current ram so I decided to get CORSAIR XMS2 1GB (2 x 512MB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Unbuffered DDR2 675 (PC2 5400). I ended up better off anyways. Thanks for the mistake or whatever it was newegg..

i just can say , i fell in love with this new egg :D

& remember 266 * 2 is real speed ! hey , they ARE "DDR" Sd-ram thogh.
