Just to chime in my $0.02, the gigabyte board that JR was referring to that was randomly "blowing up (what people who owned it liked to say)" was the P35-DS3L, but that was the earlier board, the new revision 2.1 does not seem to have these problems.

Alright, so I think I decided with the E7200. Mainly because I did some research, and from what I hear, when the E7200 is overclocked, it performs just as well as the E8400, and apparently you can barely even notice the 6MB advantage over E7200's 3MB. I think it was a 6% advantage, and I dont know if thats worth an extra $60. I thought I'd get the E7200 with the BloodIron and the HD4850, and an aftermarket heatsink.

If I do go with that setup, do you guys also help on how to overclock? And is the info I had true?
