Crashes in pubg safe temps and no stuttering

My Pubg crashes about once a game typically in the middle and ive recently overclocked updated windows and have the newest drivers ive reinstalled them i get crashes for about a day now ever since updating windows i oced before the update and the game ran fine it might have something to do with me idling because evertime i crash im typically in a really calm moment like applying bandages and so fourth so please give me any recommendations thanks.

I suggest waiting 3 - 7 days after "Patch Tuesday" to see what disasters are brought. If there's a bugaboo .. it is usually reported early. Woody's usually among the 1st to post these things.

Msi 1070 oc i5 6600k at 4.2 ghz and 16 gigs ddr4 z170a1 msi mother board 2 tb of hdd and 250 g ssd my games oni get really safe temps 70 and below on gpu and like 40 cpu in game also the game doesent artifact it just crashes its the only game that does it

The current version is known to not be stable due to the anti-cheat method. (on second thought, that update may have been retracted earlier this week).

You never really explained the "crash." What is happening?

Mine would not load, it would stop on the black pubg screen, and when it did load my resolution was super sized. I now have to run in windowed mode to get the game to load and play properly.

Well the game would run normally always super smooth then in the midddle of the game OCCASIONALLY it will freeze and the window will close leaving the crash window

Have you tried, as airman mentioned, setting the BIOS to defaults, just to make sure it is not OC related?

Ok i restarted my pc completely I un oced and im getting like 20 more frames than before and temps as high as 81c and as low as 44c so about 10 degrees higher than before is this a concern also i have no crashing

Reason for the increased temperature could be that the default voltage for the CPU may be higher than you had set previously with the overclock.

Did you try rolling back gpu drivers???

Looks like, this bug is available in latest version only.
Thank god that I have not installed latest update.
Please keep us updated when they release a patch of this bug.

Lol. Then it looks like you need some schooling when it comes to overclocking Don't hesitate to ask, before you crank up the volts/clocks again.

81 C is fine for both CPU and GPU. GPU will probably cap out at that temperature as well because then the BIOS kicks in to reduce clocks/voltage to keep hitting that target.
