Meh, wouldn't bother, they don't care, they wont care, and if you install it the "proper" way not let the cd do its thing you don't get the garbage you don't need or want. But you do have to know what you need and don't need.

Still a bit fat and ya support is questionable, but the odds of them changing are like the odds of Microsoft changing, unless something forces them by threatening their business they wont bother.

I've never had a software problem with my Creative Soundblaster Live! 24-bit thingy, but that's prolly because I use the sound drivers that come with Windows :p.

They totally do suck. Admittedly, I have a SB Live Platinum thats OLD, but to get the program suite and driver CD for WinXP - I HAD TO ORDER ONE FROM THE UK!!!
