Hey, nice price. I would recommend people to buy this from DD because it's a sound-card, no tweaking/OC of any sort, there's no chance of any harm to the card. So it's a nice deal.

Thanks. I could almost definitely sell it for more, but I figured I'll be extra nice and list up a bargain.

I've hooked it up to my Logitech Z-5500 Digitals which has an integrated Optical decoder, and they sounded GREAT. Are you going to be gaming or movie/musicing? For games, use the analog outputs and let the X-Fi decode for you. For the other two, your receiver through optical would be perfect.

I say game with a good pair of 5.1 headphones and use the optical out to your home audio gear for everything else. That would be killer.

man - I'd be interested in picking it off your hands, and mostly for the I/O drive, the second card would be nice for experimenting . . . but $100 is a bit out of my league, ATM. :ohwell:

If you really had 100 odd bucks for a card, I wanted you to buy that Elite Pro + HS900 bundle. It's still going low.

No, just the card, CD's, the headset is awesome. Fatal1ty uses the same headset. The Elite Pro has additional ASIO hardware circuitry not found on Xtreme Gamer / Platinum cards. But still compared to Auzen it's FTL.
