Crossfire !! Help !!

Ok, I have my rig all set up, heres a pic

I am trying to start the crossfire up, if I take off the bridges and boot I can see the crossfirex page, but it wont let me check the box. So I restarted with the bridges on and I dont even have the crossfire x page anymore!!!!!! Is it automatically setup??

Oh and the methods I have found require to take out a card and install then the second, well that might be very very hard, if you look at the pics you will agree Took along time to build the water for this setup. I am gonna clean up all the wiring before I take final pics

This is my new build, rampage formula, 2x3870, q6600 @ 4.2Ghz already(easy on rampage - only 1.52V!!!!) Raptor, PC power cooling 750.

Please help with the crossfire, please! I would prefer a fix without removing the cards, its almost not possible now

Yah, like i said though, I cannot uninstall one of the cards, the way the water is setup it would be almost impossible..... Im gonna try though

thanks man, took me 7 hours to build it today , and alot of money! I can build up a regular computer in like 30 minutes, but when its mine i take my time! and it payed off! I was worried with all the water work that it wouldnt post, but I plugged it in, and it posted right up

Ok for crossfire what ya gotta do (worked for me and erocker)

Use driver cleaner and get rid of ati stuff.

Install with 8.2

update to 8.3 (if you wish)

im gonna try 8.2 drivers and disconnecting the ribbons, then try the device manager without pulling the card. It wouldnt really be easyshould of thought of this, but I didnt

Yeah, man I tried everywhich way to get it to work with two cards installed from a fresh install, would not work. I have contacted AMD about this.

OK ALL - WORKING!

I ended up just having to remove the ribbons, restart in safemode and clear out all drivers.

Restart, install 8.2, then restart verifyin that it sees both cards, then shutdown, install ribbons, restart, enable crossfire, works great!

Erocker what do you mean? i thought you had it worked out?

Really, you SHOULD be able to install both cards, ribbons attatched and install the latest cats and have it work like a charm. That doesn't work though.

It works the way you told me to do it though.
