Here's the email I received this morning from Creative:
Dear Joshua,
Thank you for contacting Creative Labs regarding your X-Fi sound card.
I understand from your email that you have clicking sound on your game
but resolved by installing on-board audio. I'm sorry for any
inconvenience this is causing you. Please let me assist you.
Please try to reinstall your sound card. Before physically installing or
connecting your Creative audio products, make sure to remove, uninstall
or disable any preinstalled sound card or onboard audio (refer to
main-board manual or vendor/manufacturer). Restart the system at least
once before installing a new device.
Perform a clean sweep. Then shut down your PC. Unplug the sound card
from system. Proceed to boot up without the sound card. Make sure there
is no errors on Windows. Again, shut down your PC.
Now replug in the sound card. Boot up into Windows with the sound card.
Upon Windows remember to cancel out the hardware detection if it
automatically finds the sound card. This will prevent Windows from
installing its own generic driver. Continue to reinstall the driver from
installation CD or download through from our web site.
Based upon your product's date of purchase, it appears you're beyond the
complementary telephone (60 days) and e-mail (1 year) support period.
If you are covered under a Creative Care Protection Plan (CCPP) and are
within the warranty and service coverage of your plan, please reply back
with the e-mail address the plan was purchased under, as well as your
CCPP order and reference number.
If you are beyond your complimentary support period and not covered by a

I guess they think I'm an idiot! The system has been working awesome since I took that card out and this morning MVP 05(07 Mod) played like a dream!! No hiccups in sound or stuttering home runs! I can't believe this little fuking sound card was the root to most of my problems. I guess I'm just going to ebay the piece of crap since I have no heat to sell it on TPU.
