So, i am going to be upgrading my system, i am selling my old stuff like my 7950 GX2 and my Asus P5N-D. if i am going crossfire i would go with hd4850's, and if it was sli it would be 8800/9800 gt's. i have a e8400 already, but what would be the best set up? also not sure on what motherboard as well.... but yea, i just want opinions first

Crossfire is more expandable and usually cheaper. And a pair of 4850's makes one hell of a system for a great price.

For two cards, you need p45.P35 only has 16x/4x slots,P45 has pci-e 2.0 8x/8x.The p35 might drop the performance of two cards a bit.

oh and i believe somone on here said they couldn't overclock their ram as much on p45 vs p35.

P45 is relativley new, bios's are coming out thick and fast,so hopefully the ram compatability will get better.
