Prayers, rituals, sacrifices.
You get the idea ;)
make sense, consider 500w is a dangerous to do hungry power csf gpu, but i just curious how it work, just need a few minute to testrun, i believe in be quite,

Honestly I wouldn't bother.

I went Xfire Vega 64s, still have them, but so many problems.

- Freesync sometimes works, sometimes doesn't (black screen)
- AMD Link error every time the screen comes off
- Running turbo mode or custom clocks can cause driver crashes on some games.
- Very few games actually support Xfire anymore.

Really really not worth it unless benching for Epeen figures.

To Sum up, Crossfire & SLI is dead and not worth it. I'm only aware of less than 10 games getting Xfire support in 2019

You're looking at pulling around 350w gaming power when both GPU's are utlisided and could see spikes upwards of 400w just for the GPU's alone, I'd buy a bigger PSU. Or just sell the RX 570 once you've had your fun with it cause the extra heat and power usage is just not worth it in this day and age, both AMD and nvidia have effectively killed off multi GPU and the benefits are less than they were a couple of years ago when you could buy 2 mid range cards and get the same performance of a high end one.

That's without any issues, though I didn't mention those as from a personal point of view having run several crossfire setups (4850's/4890's/5770's/7950's) I didn't really have any, none that put me off using crossfire anyway, obviously others experiences have been different in this regard so ymmv though the previous points are enough not to warrant crossfire in 2019.

I will add, when crossfire was beneficial the 5770 setup I had was tremendous performance/$ at the time :pimp:

I think thats how a lot of people looked at crossfire in general. It was that option of being able to pick up a smaller supplemental upgrade at a lower price than originally paid a year later to hold off the big upgrade bug.

A better PSU , that 550 is not going to keep two busy 580s happy at all.
Been there.

I can't believe my eyes, it's tokopedia apps
On side note, 500W is adequate, assuming it was 80+ gold rated PSU.
I got myself a pair of RX Vega 56 and there's no problem at all with just 650W rated PSU.

Yet my Vega64s wouldn't work with a gold+ 850 and needed a 1300w lol. Lots of factors tbh

I see your card is custom AIB, I forgot to mention mine was reference, BIOS switch to silent mode and Undervolt :D

Might not be good for long term usage.Differences between bronze and gold rated PSU not just efficiency, but also better ripple suppression on gold rated, thus ensuring better protection for all kind of peripheral attach to it.
Good luck with your first Crossfire, I had the same excitement when trying my first Crossfire 12 years ago :D

This. Does it offer any benefits any more other than benching? I haven't found any.

Some games run with it pretty well... I had 4870s, 5850s and 6970s in xfire. But the headaches that came along with them as far as gaming goes wasn't worth the headache. Arma II used to random BSOD in start up because of xfire so I went sli and everything worked great till I decided to step off the dual GPU boat

One Nitro card can pull 240W in peak gaming according to reviews here so whilst 2 may not in reality double that load with everything else going on in your case I suggest a fire extinguisher at least until a replacement PSU arrives, on a positive note, Winter is coming so the heat is probably welcome :D
Hope you also have some good airflow in that Potato case.

Benchmark Scores theres nothing to brag abt potato, but it can run decent 30fps fullhd with good setting:)
Some games run with it pretty well... I had 4870s, 5850s and 6970s in xfire. But the headaches that came along with them as far as gaming goes wasn't worth the headache. Arma II used to random BSOD in start up because of xfire so I went sli and everything worked great till I decided to step off the dual GPU boat
quick question, can i run any games on sli/csf/dualfire? or it is limited as raytracing feature:confused:

Only on games that support it. And there aren't that many that do as AMD dont really advertise. If a game works with it then it works. If not then if not.

Since both amd and nvidia have stepped back from promoting dual GPU like they used to. It's safe to say that they haven't been pushing developers to adopt it either. Nvidia have been pushing rtx more

This will be my last Crossfire, no new games support it and AMD already "restricting" undervolt in their new Adrenaline, so I kinda stuck in 18.12
Low pay-off, unpaid debt, broken relationship, I don't need any more headache

You can run any games as long as AMD provided crossfire profile in Adrenaline. If it's not in the list, you can tinker by creating your own invidual profile.
No, ray tracing is nVidia RTX feature, AMD doesn't have answer for that.
