is there a way to run oldschool games with raytrac? i curious if it can be done, if so then this would be a best featyre nvidia providing:)
i prefer playing old games, somehow it enjoyable ratherthan new gen games for me:)

I'm afraid no.As I stated earlier, ray tracing is "low level" feature that doesn't simply work with on off toggle, its need to be done in engine level , not just simple post-processing ( Anti Aliasing alike ). If you enjoyed older game, I suggest installing shader pack (mod) to make it better. I'm still playing Skyrim with mod, and boy, my GPU are screaming :D

Quake 2, but raytracing is only available on RTX cards.

As long as they are dual slot cards you will be ok. The first thing to do is make sure the 580 is in the first slot. The other thing to watch out for is what type of crossfire you apply 1 to 1 and AFR are some settings that work depending on the game.

quick question, can i run any games on sli/csf/dualfire? or it is limited as raytracing feature:confused:

You can actually force games to run crossfire in the Wattman app. Some are better than others

airflow system alr good as standart, problems is just i only use front fan x1, i will consider added more fan:p
ive firefighter department contact alr, worry not:D

The Polaris cards do not pull that much power when gaming and crossfire will not have either card use 100%.

On side note, 500W is adequate, assuming it was 80+ gold rated PSU.
Efficency has NOTHING to do with output (= rated) wattage.
Efficency ratings (80Plus) means nothing except the losses on the path from wall to rated wattage are low.

When you get 500W from the 12V Rail(s) and more than that total (530W, 500W on 12V, 30W on 5V, for example), you are good.
When you have a PSU that does 480W 12V & 20W 5V (some cheaper ones do this), you are not fine, even if it is 80Plus Unobtanium rated.

Yes, I am kind of mad this has not been cleared up on every tech channel, forum and public broadcast!

This, people seem to think a cheap high wattage PSU will be fine but if it's not got decent power on the 12v it can be crap.

That's why I always look at the full tech spec

When I buy a PSU I always look for 2 12 volt rails than can run separate. There are so many peripherals available in today's market that getting the best high power, high efficiency Gold+ PSU should be one of the components that you never skimp on. Usually based on the length of the warranty.

You mean two +12v or one +12v and one -12v? Don't think I've seen a dual +12v rail.

My PSU, I'd consider high end and is only singular +12V

2 + 12 volt rails. You usually have to have a 1000+ Watt. I see that you have a 1300W and I have a 1200. There is also if the PSU does support splitting them as well. Your PSU probably does have it but you may not be able separate them. This is taken from Toms Hardware review of my PSU.

"In the multi-+12V rail mode, there are eight +12V rails with 40A maximum current output each. All of the rails combined can deliver the same wattage (1200W) in single-rail mode, of course."

It is important for me because I always run crossfire arrays and love expansion cards.

Calm down there mate, if you scroll down you'll find my bit and chips :)

Might not be good for long term usage.Differences between bronze and gold rated PSU not just efficiency, but also better ripple suppression on gold rated, thus ensuring better protection for all kind of peripheral attach to it.
Good luck with your first Crossfire, I had the same excitement when trying my first Crossfire 12 years ago :D

for now it is however check the tpu news and UFD Tech Hot News

I thought UFD Tech on YouTube ceasing their channel? Saw their video about going back to US seeking better treatment for their kid (God help them!).

Mgpu has to have the option in the game ui.

Crossfire and sli do not work in all games.
