So I updated the bios in the hope i could get my memory running at it's rated speed , now it won't boot at any speed with those two sticks in.
Testing with a single alternate module one of my Corsair vengeance 3000c16 rgb works fine on it's own or paired with a random ballistix but the other caused a 0d(on the motherboard readout) quite quickly during post in any of the slots on its own.
Im thinking flash back to 804 bios but maybe trying to reflash 1001, your thoughts would be appreciated.
Oh and since it failed to boot between me saying write bios and it rebooting finally with one stick and then prompting again that it was writing a bios with no name or idetifier i am worried.
I would recommend anyone updating Amd Ryzen platforms to do so with one ram piece in at jedec base speeds and unlike me reset your bios to default before flashing the bios, it may pan out better that way.
Since it should reboot fine post bios write.
I'll retry, I started an Rma too so fingers crossed.
