I've gotten away with them refunding me the difference in purchases less than a month old from other stores you may have some luck in trying it out and seeing if they'll give you the difference back either on a gift card or back to your original payment method, it's worth a shot

If I recall correctly the oldest item that I got them to refund the balance of or price match. Was three weeks

It's cool, I'm a premier member, and the original purchase was still eligible for a refund. So I submit a refund on that one, get the free return label, and when the ebay bought one comes in, I just slap the return label on that drive and ship it right back to newegg.

gotta love the premier...I took advantage of the "share premier with friends" option....iirc, you can share it with 5 friends. Free shipping adds up, but i had to cancel when Neweggs service got Real subpar for me.
