PC Cooling innovator CRYORIG, is announcing two new CPU cooling projects ahead of Computex 2017. The CRYORIG R5 high-end single tower and the Cu Series of Copper Fin enhanced coolers. The R5 and Cu Series will both make their debut in the coming Computex 2017 from May 30th to June 3rd.

The R5 is the second cooler in CRYORIG's R series of flagship coolers. The R5 is the missing piece to CRYORIG's PC cooling lineup. It is a high-end dual-fan single tower that is designed to stay within the mainboard's CPU Keep-Out-Zone. This means that the CRYORIG R5 has Zero RAM Interference, even on Intel's X99/X299 based platforms. Made with performance in-mind the R5 contains multiple CRYORIG cooling innovations including: Convex-Align cooler base optimization, Multi-Seg Quick Mount System, 6 CRYORIG High-end Copper Heatpipes, CRYORIG Dual Fan Fin Optimizations and more. Dual XF140 800-1400 rpm PWM fans will be attached front and back for enhanced performance. The R5 will also see the debut of CRYORIG's brand new Quick Lock Mounting, that promises to simplify the way coolers are mounted.

CRYORIG's Cu (Copper) enhanced Performance Edition coolers is a new twist to CRYORIG's award winning CPU coolers. In traditional heatsink fin designs Aluminum provides a good combination of performance, weight and cost. But Copper provides roughly twice the heat conductivity compared to Aluminum. This is why CRYORIG is hand picking some of their most acclaimed coolers and fitting them with brand new pure copper fins. The Cu Series will first make it's debut at Computex 2017. The CRYORIG C7 will be the first cooler to receive the Cu enhanced treatment, with further products to be announced later. At this time specs are not finalized yet.

Ooooh!...those Cu copper coolers look rather sexy, would look fantastic in a gun metal grey themed build.

Damn, already bought the non copper C7 in anticipation of building a new rig in the DAN Cases A4-SFX (kickstarter for v2 starts this sunday - not missing out this time...).
Might have to order the Cu C7 as well.

Countdown for A4-SFX v2 in case anyone is interested

Considering Intel mobo's aren't really well known for having an issue with close to the socket dimm slots I call that a bit of BS advertising malarkey now if they had said the same thing about say AMD's Socket AM3+ I would have said wicked shit show me the proof

I've been very happy with the Cyrorig cooler's I have used...I'll look at these guys for my next main rig cooler (when I replace my system that is) for sure...those are some nice looking coolers. This company has done a damn fine job of making good quality products.

I prefer coolers that don't obstruct ram slots, at the time I got a Scythe Ashura,I miss the days of solid copper hestsinks though

They are going to be incredibly heavy also pure copper is going to oxidise quite fast. I had Hyper 6 from Coolermaster back in the day and it was heavy compared to any other cooler with 120mm fan I have used since.

Been using my C1 since launch in S340 on 3770k @ 4.2
Kept well under 60c under load during gaming. Would love too see how much the Cu will drop that. Plus will look great.

I'd be curious to see if there's any performance difference in the Cu vs traditional Al heat sinks. Most of us know copper transfers heat better but aluminum is superior in dissipation which is why the heat pipes are always copper and the fin stack is aluminum. This seems more of a marketing stunt than an actual upgrade for the end user. Time will tell.

C1 cu please! Not even copper will make a c7 good enough for me and c1 oc-ed 1700 temps are probably still going to be quite high. Plus I can then use grizzly conductonaut if I really want to, but kryonaut should still be slightly better than the stock thermal paste, which will help in my soon to be built (august/september) rvz01-e/rvz03 based pc with x370gtn, r7 1700 (hopefully 4ghz) and whatever graphics card is best then.
