i think crysis 2 and 3 remaster looks like a patch rather than remaster...
because i think crysis 2 and 3 looked really good for its time...

Crysis 3 looks brilliant anyway, so remastering it just seems like a money grab.

Crysis 2 on PC was just fine. After playing "Anomaly", Crysis 2 just needs more crazy guns in it. :D

The only way I can see this remaster making sense, is if its optimized for higher frame rates and just overall a more smoothly designed game. Can it run Crysis joke, is a bad context type of joke imo, because it was really just bad coding and optimizing or just a mistake in using that engine they used because they had no other choice that made it so hard to run... there are loads and loads of beautiful games out there, that get high frames and run really smooth. So there is no excuse for the joke imo, can it run crysis...

meh. to each their own, if reviews show this is very smooth game though I may be interested, as i never got around to playing the original games due to the heat output they caused.

Doubtful and if it is you might have to wonder what it'll be because Crytek seems desperate for money as they have always been. The reality is, they made Crysis and an engine nobody really picked up proper. Where is the budget for a fantastic Crysis 4? Still, I hope they find it.

For me, the Crysis Remastered Trilogy is showing as unavailable even though it was released yesterday the 15th of October. Not sure why, or is it because I already have Crysis Remastered?

Trying to brush cobwebs out of my memory right now, but there was a huge difference between crysis 2 and 3 and the cryengine compared to crysis 1, and the crysis 1 remaster uses the port to the version/branch of cryengine used for 2 and 3, that was able to be ran by the Xbox 360.

I remember the story being something along the lines of the original crysis and the new cryengine for it being designed for a hardware future they were expecting would continue to have increases to incredibly high single threaded performance, a future that never materialized as hardware performance was aquired by going wider.
