the game will not end up looking like this. crysis was the same way. they screenshots looked amazing but even with max settings dx10 it didnt look anything like them.

I hope this ends up like ME2. Runs better and looks better. Either way everyone will complain how they can't play it maxed out like they did with the first even though it wasn't that bad.

They better do a better job coding this one because Crysis 1 was a nightmare. Sucking up your system's performance IMO is called bad design and coding. Farcry 1 looks really good and ran on almost anything you installed it on. Crysis should have been the same but instead that came forced many to upgrade which still did not help all that much.

Man, i mean i get it there might have been some poor coding but being the best looking graphical game of it time and still in the top 5 of today, you dam right it was going to suck up your computer's performance. I mean crysis came out in 2006, that's 4 years ago and it still looks better than PLENTY of games release within the last year. My personal opinion is that people got mad that their comp, even having the best hardware, couldn't run it maxed at w/e their res was, probly 1920x1080+). Crysis set the bar and showed everyone what could be done graphics-wise with a game. But for some reason....people can't accept that. Not to mention that when i gamed at 20fps with my 8800GT it felt like css at 55fps roughly or FarCry 2 at 35 or so. That imo shows there was something they did in the code that was right.

as for Crysis 2....i really really hope the fact that it'll be on consoles won't limit its visuals on the PC version. I hope it sets another stepping stone with stunning visuals.
