CS:S refresh rate

Anybody know how to set the refresh rate in CS:S?? I need to put it in 85 Hz and I'm not sure how. Any help appreciated!

A quick search came up with a somewhat useful tidbit of info that's a little bit hard to read but:

if you run at 1024x768 then 85 is the average, HLs default max fps is 72, so like Sayus says fps_max 100 into the consol so you can get 85Hz and cl_showfps 1 and 0 for off to see the refreash rate. Most suck tho and use net_graph 3 , i dunno they jus must like huge things covering half thier screens

Basically, up your fps_max to 100 (or more) and you should be able to get 85 Hz (or whatever rate you want, provided that you have a CRT monitor).

Thanks m8, idk what's going on lol cause my FPS cap is and has always been 300

If it doesn't then... I guess you should try looking around on the Steam forums... although the search feature is horrible
