I'd rather have a single GTX 780m instead. I made the mistake of buying a $2400 Toshiba X205-SLI4 with dual 8600m GT GPUs instead of a $1250 Gateway FX with an 8800m GTS a couple years ago.

These laptops are probably much better, but if SLi doesn't work for a game, your FPS will probably be crappy, microstutter was really bad on my laptop, and aside from the cards hitting 95c and throttling when both were used, they died 4 times since all those GeForce 8/9 chips had severe solder bump issues..

It don't come "in my way" because it's not available in a 14" model with the A10-5750 APU, so no sale.

Can I have one with Intel processor and ATI video card? The nvidia's one costs double while is slower than the 8970M.

Go for MSI then. ;)

Btw, what is faster 2x765M or single 8970M card??

This.
780m has exactly twice of everything the 765m has, and none of the drawbacks of SLI.

Sli in laptop has gotten better, but yes, the general rule of thumb is avoid sli setup.

The laptop above is top of line laptop. Those never carry AMD cpu. I have never seen top of line laptops carrying AMD mobile CPU since 1996 :p It could carry AMD GPU though. I am not even sure why you posted that since you are looking for 14 inch. This is 17 inch DTR laptop.
