CyberPower Inc., a global manufacturer of custom gaming PCs, delivers a lethal dose of mobile gaming power when it today unleashes its FangBook X7, a blazingly fast, terrifyingly powerful, and absolutely unique gaming notebook.

The FangBook packs the meanest, fastest, and strongest qualities that the CyberPowerPC Fang series has to offer including Intel's i7-3940XM Extreme Edition Processor paired with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M notebook graphics processing unit (GPU) to decimate everything in its path. With the FangBook X7 you can take mobile gaming to a whole new level. Users get the power needed to maximize productivity and game play coupled with the perfect graphics engine for power users who demand unrivaled PC performance.

"The Fangbook is an excellent gaming system, and a great GPU is at the heart of every great gaming system," said Brian Choi, notebook GPU product manager at NVIDIA. "The GeForce GTX 680M is the fastest, most advanced GPU ever built for a notebook and makes a great foundation for the Fangbook to build from."

There's no need to squint working off a tiny display. The FangBook X7 enhances your gaming and media entertainment experience with the rich and vibrant colors of a 17.3" full 1080p anti-glare LED display to give your eyes the HD experience they deserve. The FangBook X7 also features premium speakers with a subwoofer that let you hear every bit of action for a truly immersive gaming experience.

By utilizing two mSATA SSDs in RAID 0, this revolutionary technology breaks the speed limit with lightning fast speeds over 900 MB/s.

Designed for precision, speed, and comfort, the FangBook's backlit keyboard will handle even the most hardcore gaming sessions. The spring loaded anti-ghosting programmable keys lets you keep the intense macro without losing any momentum.

The FangBook X7 also features NVIDIA Optimus technology, which automatically optimizes your battery life while maintaining the outstanding graphics performance you expect, whether you're watching a movie, surfing the web, or playing a graphic intensive game.

The features of the FangBook X7 with at starting price of $1,299 include:

I would get the FangBook X7-100, and in a laptop you won't need over 8GB and a 675MX is a nice gpu.

Thats cool how you can RAID 2 mSATA SSD's

Also they must have had a typo, on their website they all come with 7200rpm hdd.

Why do you need 4G VRAM for a 1080p notebook?

You don't, but you can always hook up to a monitor with higher res, etc., but then the gpu probably wouldn't even get fps with 1440+

I think the problem is by the time that GPU uses 2 GB of VRAM, it will already start to run out of steam.

$200 for a 64GB SSD and 8GB of mem? Nowai.

Yeah it's not worth it to get the upgrades, I would just get the stock notebook and then just buy those from Newegg
