Tried the tweak, made no difference

Seems GN said that CP2077 doesn't like your CPU much causing large frame time spikes so maybe that's why you don't seem to gain any improvement in fps as for me I went from sitting around 55~65 fps with lows of 40ish fps to sitting at 88+fps all the time I'd try the AVX tweak and see if that works for you better than the other ones

Doesnt make sense. The game uses way more vram and system memory than that config indicates anyway.

That section is specifically for the Console version of the game--it's not even enabled for the PC Version. It's a nonsense change that shouldn't effect anything on PC unless they made a truly egregious error.

It seems to improve the game's stability a little (though I still get plenty of crashes), and it also seems to fix my middle-click issue.

It has the AVX fix, the Ryzen SMT fix, a fix relating to Spectre mitigations, and the memory pool fix.

It's also open-source if you want to see how it works.

I think alot depends on your system higher end doesn't seem to need the tweaks as much but lower / medium end systems tend to get a reasonable boost also try the AVX tweak you may find running without it using AVX will give you better perf

weird i heard the polar opposite ... that high end system are the one that need help with CP2077 perf and medium/lower were more fine (well that explain why my system has no issues and run smooth until now )

1440p medium settings and the game does not look far from what i see on stream nor feel jittery, 0 crashes in 17hrs play (Cohh had 2 or 3 crashes in 44hrs ) although the crashes seems to be AMD related (which is sad ... i hope we will not see a news and have a scandal like "CDPR is a Intel nVidia bootlicker and accepted money to cripple performances on AMD hardware" ) which could also explain consoles issues...

btw RTX option is exclusive to nVidia or is it RTRT and compatible with a AMD RX 6XXX card too? game devs realy need to rename that option to be less "nVidia associated" (well they pushed it but they are not the origin of it )

I played for 9 hours yesterday and had to restart twice cause it wouldn't let me ADS with a very overpowered revolver (found near the train tunnel, east of NC)
Also my fav melee didn't load the textures.
And a mission to kill some chilled cyberpsycho borked twice as the lady wouldn't spawn in.

Still I had fun though.

Right now it is Nvidia exclusive, but support for AMD is coming eventually. With all the other issues I imagine that patch is being delayed.

I tried it on my 4k Monitor it looked beautiful but the FPS were in the 30s using a 5600x and 5700 system but that was before the hot fix. I have not installed it yet to see if it improves the performance.

yes but RTRT is available on console using AMD hardware, granted the game on console is a clusterf*ck right now, and RTX is RTRT with a fancy name ... nVidia do not own or did create RTRT
that tech being locked by that naming is just as disgusting as Hairwork in TW3 (and both are equally ... gimmicky in the end )

on the other hand DLSS 2.0 is about the only tech that really matter and is innovative from them, if i had a 30XX series (which will not happen anytime soon, not only because of pricing but also because of nV recent behavior) i would play with DLSS but no RT and opposed to what nV hammer to the reviewer, gamer need DLSS or tech equivalent from AMD and RT is just an option to make the game look a bit more realistic but not that much (i can barely see any differences in comparison screens and sometime RT off looks better ... but that's probably me )

well i have good hope for CP2077 given CDPR past, TW3 turned out awesome with time passing, and can only expect the game to refine quite well with patches even a game that took that long was "rushed" it seems patch 1.04 made the game quite more stable for me.

I won't even bother, vanilla 1.0.4 is already pegging my GPU at 99% while CPU is around 40%. I'm more interested in graphics tweaks that will make 3440x1440 more playable on a 1080TI at 2100MHz with Low graphics settings.

RTRT is an industry term. RTX is Nvidia copyrighted. It is their name for their implementation of RTRT. Nothing wrong with that.

well i still hate to see proprietary "naming" locking a tech in a games options ... without the open standard being put as a parallel... thus i find it wrong

edit, for good measure, if an option did show RTRT and if i had a RX 6800 (XT or non ) i would not use it either tho but i would be happier knowing that the option is available for both (same for DLSS but for DLSS i give due credit to nV for that one )

i think i need to laugh hard today ... i noticed i was playing in 1440p (nothing changed there ) high settings instead of medium .... after patch 1.04

did not notice since the game still ran smooth .... what the actual F ...

Without doing anything and basically ultra preset I was managing 30-40 fps (1440p/144hz) with a 5700XT Nitro+ and Ryzen 3700X. My CPU load is around 20-30%. This should be good right? Or should the load be higher? GPU load is 90-100%. I got a bit confused after reading all the potential improvements (hex edit/poolGPU/CPU)..

I've tried the hex edit and changed poolGPU/CPU but sadly none seemed to improve. I lowered the preset to high and only managed to get 40-50 fps. For now, I just lowered the preset to medium again and get around 60+ fps.

Oh man. Thanks for the thread share. I will try it out.

edit: alright I used the same options and now I'm averaging around 75+ fps on 1440p. CPU load has increased from 30% to 55%. The load seem to be spread around all cores now. Thanks alot!!
