D945 vcore default???

Can anyone help me find what my default vcore is so that I dont mess my mod up! I have googled and looked on the box and through info leaflet, but all that says is 1.3v max on the box!

I think it is 1.3125v def, but im not 100%

Just ive read that the 945 is a bugger to vmod, and I cant be arsed to do every mod to see which one works, alot of people say it knocks 1 of the cores off

The default for my Pentium D 930 at stock(3Ghz) is 1.20Vcore, that's what it showed in CPU-Z and smartguardian, and now at 3.72GHz the Vcore is at 1.25V and it's 24/7 stable.

Well.. ive found out that it is 1.225V-1.325V

But.. theres always a but lol, do I do the mod for 1.225v or 1 in between or 1.325v

Maybe im just going to have to do a hit and miss until I find the mod that doesn't shut off 1 of the cores!

But did you do the mod I need to do? I bet your bios lets you change manually, mine dont its gay!

Yeah my Bios lets me change the voltages for everything

But why do you want to mod it, it's unstable?

I cant get it any higher (stable wise) than 3.74Ghz, my research tells me it can go much higher, atleast 4Ghz.. So thats why I need the extra volts..

Yeah, have been with this water cooling for a couple of weeks, just need to sort this oc out

Ok, i think that up to 1.4V is ok as long as temps under full load don't go over 60º C

Please correct me if i'm wrong

Well ive been into my bios and the vcore hovers @ 1.225v but fluctuates slightly which you might expect, so I will try that mod first and take it to 1.425v, if temps become a issue I will think again!

1.225 to 1.425 might be a a big jump, try 1.3V first and keep going carefully in baby steps

this is the variable voltage for it 1.225V-1.325V so I know that will be fine, also the first mod I can do using the conductive ink is 1.425v, it has been done alot from what I have found out, so im not to worried!
