I didn't mess with these two boards swapping out video cards to much. They may need to be RMA I do not know. I always used the 2ed PCI-E16x slot which is just as fast as the first slot.

Heya Damulta, if those fall through I have a completely working fine 2600 Pro I can trade you (if you want it). I am pretty skilled with the soldering iron, you will just have to show me what needs fixed. Can it be RMA'd?

EDIT:On second thought, nevermind. I can't, I have to make sure this rig is 24/7 working.

Just keep your axeram for now, but get the board and adapter. Go for the 2x2GB kit later.

DaMulta, its a good price, but the egg has them open box for less, and really the extras that come with the board are things i got in excess, sata cables, firewire and usb/diag ports( got like 3 of them from msi boards)
