ddr2 533 with e2180?

i have a biostar tpower i45 an e2180 and my ddr2 800 ram is on its last leg, i have a stick of ddr2 533 laying around but i cant get it to work cause i only have fsb of 800 available and the lowest i can run the ran is 667, which i can not get the ram to boot at. any way around this dilema? or am i stuck to needing to buy ddr2 667/800?

Try loosening the timings if you've not tried that. If you can I mean if it won't post I don't think that's an option.

yea most of the newer boards dont support the older DDR2 anymore :(
