Hi I just got an 8800GT from kyle2020 and unfortunately it died on me Now kyle did an excellent job with the shipping etc he used a box with fragile with care stickers and I don't blame him for it not working but I don't know what to do with this dead card.
Anyway for the diagnosis, The card when in SLI is not recognised by gpuz, rivatuner and nvidia's drivers even after a reinstall. The fan does spin but when the card is in the machine alone there is no image on the display but the computer boots up. I can't see anything on the desktop only hear what is going on. I can't feel any heat coming from the card after 20 odd minutes on the desktop so I'm thinking I should RMA it. Its an Asus card btw
