Dead Space 1 FPS Lock

Without V-Sync ON in game (30 FPS) i can't through door in Chapter 1. What if i set V-Sync ON (60 FPS) in NVIDIA Control Panel? Will be still this bug? With 30 FPS it's so hard to play.

Fantastic game! That said, it's unplayable at 30fps, mouse movement is ridiculous. I turned off vsync in game and forced alternatively, don't remember if it was in AMD's driver ability or other program like MSI AB.

Never tried that fix but wish I had found it and tried it.

Word of caution: I did play it with 60 and 90 fps, and I ran into issues with random game crashes...don't remember if it happened at 90 only or 60 too. Save often.

Another caution if you run game beyond 60fps the game can start glitching out aswell, i remember playing and i did a gravity jump and it kept going on forever.

I've done many playthroughs at 144hz/144 fps and never had any physics issues. But yeah, disabling the in game vsync is huge. Force it via your control panel and it ran great for me. I also used triple buffering via d3doverider though I'm not sure it's necessary.

I loved Dead Space. I played it on the PS3 though. I have it for PC but doubt I'll ever load it up. Dead Space 2 was even better but Dead Space 3 blew. I beat each game but I had to make myself, no force myself to complete Dead Space 3.

In Final Chapter i had to turn on V-Sync because door bug. Great game. I finished Dead Space 2 on PC too. Maybe i will finish Dead Space 3 some day.
