decent video card for gaming on 2x 25" 1920x1080 monitors?

I'm going to buy 2 25" i-inc 1920x1080 monitors next week and at the moment i only have a gts 450 what video card would i need to game on these at medium-high specs on l4d2,BC2 etc.
i'd appreciate it if suggestions were in my budget of $160+a gts 450

You will need atleast 3 monitors to enjoy multi-monitor gaming.

And with that if your only going to want one card then id get a HD6970. If you are going to run two cards? GTX560ti SLI??

If you go nvidia you need two cards to run more then 2 monitors.

3 monitors is much much better for gaming since it depicts a much more realistic FOV and you have the crosshair in the middle :laugh:

for something like that 2 gtx70s in SLI should be able to run that high resolution.

GTX470/570 doesn't have enough ram. :mad:

Need 1.5GB vram or more. Dollar for dollar, dual 6950's are the ticket.

I dunno 'bout tri-mon. It's fantastic for driving games, but not so much for FPS, at least for me.

6950 2GB...$269...don't both with 1GB cards. Even @ 2560x1600, 1GB is not enough.

I only ahve one card ATM, so I ahven't playe with there monitors much, but hopefully soon I'll have a pair, and I can get it going again.
