I can't figure out why when I plug in a USB 2.0 card reader, no matter what it is recognized as USB 1.1. This happens with my card reader which I just bought, but I figured it was just because it was a cheap card reader. Well I tried using my dad's which he has no problems running at USB 2.0 and it is still recognized as 1.1 on my laptop.

All other devices that I hook up to the laptop run at USB 2.0 just fine--even if I hook my D70 directly to the PC via USB it is 2.0. My only guess as to why this will not work is because I am running Vista x64. (Dell does not offer 64 bit OSs, so I had purchased 64 bit separately and installed that myself).

    TIA
