it would be awesome if they can intergrate a physx card in this unit, but that would be something of the future. I dont know about the duo processors, they are so unstable. they crash way to much.

I'm gonna try to pop that 7900GTX in my 9300, I still haven't bought the 7800gtx for it yet. Only thing I'm pissed at is WHY did Intel rearrange the sockets on 478?!?! I'm tryin to figure out if my Intel 915 mobo is compatible with the new socket (I hear 915 and above ARE compatible but I don't know if that's a reliable source I heard from). Anyway though, my 9300 has surprisingly long battery life with all the mobile hardware (about 2-4 hours on one charge), I mean maybe the 7900gtx will eat up the battery life, but Nvidia's Powermizer seems to do very well at keeping power consumption down.

dude the intel chipsets from 875p to 925i are for socket 478 and 775. with a skt 478 the best u can get is the single core extreme editions...

sounds like they have finally gotten rid of the bloatware on the new comps. i cant beleive its a dell..well considering the hardware i wouldnt clock this thing in at over an hour per charge but then again they can create a hell of a speed ramp from 2d to 3d. why not clock it down to 300/300 at low voltage then kick it up to max when gaming?

That's exactly what they do Kenny. That's the whole Powermizer application's reason. That's why I get almost 4 hours from my battery even with my 6800 go. The 7900GTX will probably sip a little more power, but not much when it's at low clocks.

Also, so Duo and Solo's are just dumb-ass only-for-new-pc's processors and NOT backwards-compatible? GAAAAY. I guess I'll have to go with the Pentium M 770 or something. Damn.
