Dell Announces the $10k XPS 600 Renegade monster

Dell today announced it is selling the XPSTM 600 Renegade desktop, previewed at the Consumer Electronics Show in January and reloaded with technologies that can virtually change entire worlds for serious gamers. This beast runs the latest Intel Pentium 965 Extreme Edition processor overclocked to 4.26GHz, 2GB DDR2 667 memory, 2x160GB 10,000RPM Raptor hard drives in a RAID-0 configuration plus an additional 7,200RPM 400GB hard drive, Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty sound card and four GeForce 7900 graphics cards running in Quad-SLI. The XPS 600 Renegade system is available in limited quantities with the Dell 3007WFP 30-inch flat panel monitor starting at $9,930. The XPS 400 and 600 desktops with discrete physics controllers are priced at $1,239 and $2,039, respectively. Read the full press release here.
