Well I've started playing Diablo II at my cousins house

So how many of you guys still play or started playing again because of Diablo III approaching? The game is so addicting for me

If you played before, How'd you like it? How would you rate it? How much time did you play?

Well I'll start off by saying that I didn't play much before, but my cousin certainly did... I kept on hearing "Enigma, SOJ" etc at his house

Well from what I've played, I realized the game is a bit too easy... alot too easy actually. 2 days lvl 75? wtf? I quickly realized though that lvls and cash isn't worth much in D2, but instead it was what you are wearing and what you have... mostly evaluated in Stone of Jordans (SOJ). Also, PVP takes an importance at higher lvls and when your more "funded". I like it so far, and wtv little I played before, I forgot. So I started playing again and I played for a few hours and I'm only lvl 24, but my cousin in 2 days was already 75. We restarted together and he was lvl 24 also at the day of the 1st day (we started late). Do you think D3 will be more of the same?

PS: Would anybody donate me a CD-key they don't use anymore please

I hate going to my cousins house to play everytime

I used to have one but I gave the game to a friend in NJ (where I don't live anymore) but didn't write the CD-key anywhere since i didn't know I would start again

CD keys are dirt cheap, just torrent the CD's somewhere and pick up those.

Beyond that, I went back to DII for a bit, but it's a short game and it just wears out for me. It's a great game, I would rate it 8/10 and I played it quiet a bit. But to be completely honest, I liked DI a lot more. I played through that game maybe 20 times with my cousin and liked the dungeon crawling feel opposed to an open world type feel.

Just started palying again, playing Median XL mod.

I love how the paladin works now, although he's way over powerd at the start of the game XD

I already have the discs... I made copies of them... but I forgot to write down the CDkey lol...

Yea I figured that it would be short unfortunately... but if you play a little at a time it is pretty good

Making many chars at the same time helps too

oh btw do you guys play the expansion? (Lord of Destruction) if you have a cd key for that too it would be even more awesome

Although I think if you use the CD key I used just to install D2 then you can run the game with LOD and a real CD-key, I think they only check the one cd key.

Its worth a try, I'll send you both CD keys tomorrow.

I still play it from now and then, all the mates got the urge to start over so we did and played it for days on end like 6months ago.

I heard its been patched again am i right?

I dont bother uninstalling the game anymore, i just install it and then move the whole files around when i back up and then move them back and off i go

I give Diablo 2 a 9/10

Its on 1.12 at the moment.

You can run it without a CD is the only change.

Yes thats right i do remember doing that, installing a few music files from the disc or something and this made it work with out the disc, is that the latest patch then if you have to do this?

Yup that's right, you should be on the latest patch, I think there is 1 more due before D3 comes out though.

I did downloaded a 74mb patch or so ages ago that changed everthing in the game as in the creatures and spells for each character, it worked but was a little weird, anyone else tried it?

I also know that Diablo 2 will work over Hamachi
