I've an asus f3jp notebook with a mobility x1700 card running the latest (modded) drivers.
I've previously run halflife2, oblivion, and WoW at lower settings but reasonable frame rates. I've just reinstalled WoW and Im getting unplayable rates.
I've removed, cleaned and reinstalled original manufacturers and new drivers and get the same problems. I now have a 3dMark06 score of 595, seems like I should be getting 2000ish. Even my vista score thing has dropped by half.
Is there any way my card could be under clocking itself, like a speedstep thing? Is it possible that the card is faulty but still 'working'? Are there any suggestions where I should be looking?
