Diamond 4890 1gb .. component issues

i got a diamond 4890 1gb...

i got it hooked up to a 42" SONY.TV (a bit older)
which has two component inputs for HD.. 1080i max...

when i plug in the component adapter that came with video card...
my COLORs are out of wack... YELLOW looks pink...
i've tried two different component cables same issues...
doesn't matter which 'input' on the back of the tv i use... same result...

xbox / cable.boxHD .. all look great...
just my ATI.4890.. looks like garbage...

i run the latest CCC from ATI's website 9.5 (win.7.64x)

please... advise...

If you have another device to accept component, test that out first, it can help discover if the problem is with your TV or your card. Make sure you try another component cable if you have one, I have a lot of component cables lying around (lots of ATI videocards). But if you asked me, I think the component cables look weak, flimsy, and cheap. If you can get another card that does component out I would try that next to rule out if the problem is with the card. Make sure your component connections are good, sometimes if your component cables are loose the colors would look as you described. Make sure you have the latest bios for your card. Catalyst 9.6 is available on the forum. If all else fails, contact Diamond for tech support. I don't know how well their tech support works but it doesn't hurt to try.

issue FIXED...
was a faulty - ati component adapter...

bought a new ATI.component adapter...
