Hi everyone!
I'm new here so hopefully I don't screw up the posting etiquette too badly but appreciate your patience as I learn! Well, here it goes...
I picked up some new XFX 6800 XT cards and noticed they came with different bios. One card had the same bios as my previous two cards, and one had a completely different bios. I’ve listed the details on the cards, bios, and my related questions below. Thanks!
Here are the card and their bios:
XFX 6800 XT (3 cards) – 113-5N21XT_200801 bios

XFX 6800 XT (3 cards) – 113-5N21XT_200801 bios
- These 3 cards seem to be performing better than the other card
- I noticed that this bios is newer, being built on 05/31/2021 and also shows as an unverified file here on the site
- https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/235823/235823
- This card does not perform as well as the other 3
- I noticed this bios is older, being built on 11/11/2020 and shows as a verified file here on the site

- Why would these card, all purchased as new in box, come with different bios?
- Is it worth flashing the newer bios of the 3 higher performing cards to the card with the older bios that isn’t performing as well?
