DiRT 2 Demo Out Now

The DiRT 2 demo is coming out in North America on Xbox 360 20th August and Playstation 3 27th August and the Rest of the World on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 20th August.

We’re running a Competition where we’ve uploaded a video on our YouTube DiRT 2 Playlist called DiRT 2 Demo Lap Time Competition where the Codemasters Development Team sets what we consider to be a time which will take real skill to beat on the Morocco Trailblazer track featured in the upcoming demo. The ten fastest times set will win some awesome prizes, even if our lap time is not beaten.

The fastest lap time will win a pair of extremely limited edition DC DiRT 2 shoes plus a Codemasters Goodie Bag! 2nd to 10th will each win a Codemasters Goodie Bag!

Oh, i thought there was a PC demo to, i was about to get excited.

Considering both my 360s decided to commit suicide and my PS3 reformatted it self and i sold it.

It's nice to know some developers still release demos before the game is out.

yeah i think a demo is supposed to make you see what the game is like, so that you can decide if you want to purchase it

demo beign out after the game is out is a bit stupid then you cant preorder it

The DiRT 2 demo features two exhilarating events, both available to play in single-player offline and in 8-vehicle online multiplayer. In the Morocco Trailblazer event, players take on the ultimate test of rally car in the Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. The Baja Landrush event set at the spectacular Ensenada Port circuit features the heavy duty West Coast Choppers Stuka Trophy Truck.

Not much but hey, better than nothing. All I need in a racing demo is to get a feel of the handling and physics so I don't end up racing cars that handle like trolleys *cough*ProStreet*cough*

No Monster Scooby :( Can't wait to try out the demo when I get home with my new Elite later :D

Yeah, I know lol. I noticed DiRT didn't have any water, rain or snow. Night time would have been cool too. Hmm, night with rain and lots of mud going through a forest in pitch black, would be pretty cool :p
