Disk Boot Failure!

KK, it says it will take about another hour to run it.

Okay. It doesn't say there are any errors on the disk. Does that mean I can format the HDD?

That's affirmative. I work at a tech shop and we run diagnostics first and always... its amazing what a bad stick of RAM or failing drive can cause as far as headaches go.
