Hello. I was using ATI Radeon HD 4850 until few days ago, and I would constantly keep getting "Display driver AMD has stopped responding and has recovered" after giving me black screen for a few seconds. Mostly when playing a game, but it also could happen while just navigating through Windows. Few days ago I recieved ASUS AMD Radeon HD 7790 DirectCU 1GB OC graphic card, and I started getting the same issue, plus also this time sometimes my screen just gets frozen and all I can do is restart my PC.
I tried so many possible solutions to this issue, but to no avail. I also noticed a lot people aswell has this issue (mostly Asus' graphic cards, like mine). Apprently it doesn't behave well with drivers, when there's no drivers installed on sistem, just windows basic ones, no freezes.
I was just wondering if anyone here would recommend bios flashing gpu, do you think it might fix this problem, or it's too risky to even do it, seeing that many people bricked their GPU.
