Just installed the hotfix driver 531.26 and at the end nvcleanstall (latest) showed this error message:

I don't known if it is related but yesterday I followed this guide: https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/11e7ukr/_/jam16da

Could that be a file permissions/location issue? Where'd you have the downloaded hotfix driver when you pointed NVCleanstall to it?

Didn't have any problems here upgrading 531.18 to .26 through NVCleanstall, no clean install, just display driver only.

I only select to install the driver and deselect telemetry.
What is different from what i normally do is that i installed it from a downloaded file (instead of let nvcleanstall search for it).

Downloaded to "Downloads". So nothing special.

How I use Nvcleanstall is I put driver in same folder and move driver file over Nvcleanstall icon, that places that driver in path ready to install.
