I bought this wifi dongle its work prefect im just plugged on my pc and doing fine but speed is limited on my dongle its lock on 7megabytes but in specification is 150Mbps about 18.7megabytes i installed least firmware from Dlink site but still on 7mg im connect this dongle to my phone its a redmi note 8 and my sim speed around 12mg

WiFi advertised speed is usually a lie. 150Mbps N standard is around 4-5MB/s with mid-range hardware and close proximity.

It's better to measure speeds with a website like Speedtest or local SMB/FTP rather than the OS reported link speed.

I'm guessing its a 1x1 client so that 150Mbps is for a 40 MHz link rate on the 2.4ghz signal but many routers will default to 20 MHz on the 2.4ghz signal (or if set to auto) for better range. This will give you roughly a 65Mbps link or roughly 8 MB ps.

I found the problem its about my phone Hotspot weakness my friend have dongle like this but its a tp link I've been tested it and results are similar
