Do ATI 5K Series cards require a HD capable monitor?

Have you tried installing the ATi driver with Catalyst Control Center while using the onboard with the HD5750 connected?

Nothing related to the HD5750 shows up under Display Devices?

Definitely not initializing the card properly then, likely due to some incompatibility between the board and the card.

I've had this problem before! make sure you have plugged the card in all the way! Push it in very hard until a little click is heard then you know it's in. I have had a similar problem and I have started a thread about it before and all I had to do was push the card in MUCH harder. If you wanna read the thread tell me.

i was thinking of something but now i don't think it a problem i was just going to look for maybe a capacitor or something that may have fallen off your mobo never know

Well it's working fine justnow :D I have another PCI-E card, the 1650SE. It works fine appart from the dud cooler.
