Hi,

My case: Phanteks Mini ITX
Case fans support: 2x 120mm / 2x 140mm at the top

Fans i want: Corsair Air Series AF140 Quiet Edition

  1. 120mm or 140mm?
  2. One or two?
What do you recommend?

Money is not an issue, just want to have the best temps possible inside of the case.

That depends on what system you are fitting in the case.
If you use an AIO liquid cooler then that comes with a 120 radiator and fan already, that can be mounted at the rear or top.
If you use an air CPU cooler, two 140 fans at the top will do.

2 x 140's at the top will be adequate.
Your choice of fans are good to go.

looks like a pretty "cool" case whatever you do.. three things to consider.. noise.. filters f-ck up air flow and the more air you push through a case the more crud you push through a case..

somewhere lies a compromise between all three. :).

i think individual component cooling is far more important than blowing loads of air though a case.. cool your gpu and cpu well and the rest will take care of itself.. more so with a case as full of holes as that one.. :)

with that nice front fan a single 120 fan at the upper rear would do the job well enough.. it aint a case that will have cooling problems..

Neither would do you any good as there is no opening at the top of that case for air to escape from, a blocked fan doesn't move air.

Edit: Yes I know there are the slots in the sides of the top, but most of the air will want to go straights up, you'd be producing back pressure. Also if you intend to use them a intakes to cool an AiO radiator that defeats the purpose of a top fan which is to help hot air out of the case, simple physics, hot air rises.

BTW the best top fan solution is a massive 200mm at the top of the case. hehe
