Moderation is entirely unpayed contribution to my knowledge. W1zzard pays all our news writers I think, but don't expect a full time salary from it. It's web journalism, part-time at best. Nature of the job.

I used to write news here a long time ago - just use the search function to see - and got paid a modest sum for my work. With that level of pay, I did it as a hobby and to be part of the staff at TPU. It was nice.

Mods don't get paid as far as I know.

W1zzard is a 10/10 boss (honestly he trained me a lot... lol) but I needed more financial oomph to get out the door so had to eventually move on. Not his fault, just how these jobs are.

Mods and forum staff are freebies, news/review crowd get paid for their work - but that work also takes a lot of time and effort.
