That would make a lot of sense. I bought it like it is for $50, just trying to get it running. I could try those BIOS see what happens. Thanks!In that case, i found this in the unverified section.
I'm not sure about the dangers of unverified BIOS but i would assume caution at least. I'm sure someone more knowledgable than me will chip in shortly.
Also, would like to add that in the verified section, all the BIOS that correspond to your card had "1C03" device ID, maybe the BIOS on it now with the wrong ID is the reason why its bricked in the first place.
