After swapping in a different set of 128GB DDR4 the system runs perfectly again. So I tested the sticks one by one and narrowed down to one single stick that is dead. Damn looks like it is RMA time with GSKill now.....

I am still confused as hell. How the heck can ram sticks go bad??? Every single time during ram intensive work they usually hovers around 55C.~60C. But that should be well within specs of tolerable temperature??
