A while ago, I found my old DOS 6.22 Instal floppies, and decided to install it onto an old laptop I had lying around, because I wanted to experiance how DOS was.
No such luck.:(
The floppy disk that had the installation/setup file on it was corrupt!
Does anyone know where to download the files for an installer disk? I've tried looking around, but I only found boot-disks, which aren't the same thing.
I only need the files for the first disk, because that is the ones that is screwed.

dos is effectivly abandonware, if you check around you can get various versions online.

easyist would probbly be to look for a torrent tho, since you can probbly find a torrent for 6.22 and win 3.11 that will get you them pretty quickly :)

I don't have a torrent...
I can get one easily (I think I have utorrent installer somewhere) but I don't know how to use one. And don't they get heaps of viruses?

naa, i have found maby 6 viruses in my many years of using torrents.

main thing with torrents is the same rule with ANY type of download, avoid scetchy sorces, and read the comments.

check your pm's.

torrents are quite easy, and if you have your windows connection limmit uncaped(sp2 caps the connection limmit at like 8 half opens) its also very fast.

also a good indocation of a good torrent is the number of seeds, bad torrents die quickly because people close and delete them, good ones will go for YEARS.

Thanks for all the help :).
utorrent is working fine, although it says it'll take a few days because speed is very slow...
Is there any way to speed it up, even though it has a small number of 'seeds'?

depends on the torrent seeds are people who are sharing the full file, one thing, u need to give utorrent full access to the network, firewall slows it down drasticly.

Unfortunately, the ISO file contains all three disk's files. This means I have to figure out which ones belong on the first Disk! Anyone know what files are on the first installation disk?
