That's smart.yea I am going to start saving now
I do recommend you wait until you can buy everything at once. I have seen too often where folks buy their components piecemeal over several months - "so they don't spend the money on something else."
That introduces several problems. The most important is the warranty starts on the day of purchase (or day shipped). Many retailers only allow returns during the first 30 days. After that, you have to deal with the manufacturer. This can be a problem if, 3 months later when you get the last of your components, you find the product doesn't work.
Also, it is not uncommon for makers, especially with motherboards and graphics cards, to release revisions of the same model after the model is first released to correct problems, or address other issues. You don't want a superseded motherboard before you even have a chance to open the box.
And it is not uncommon for new versions of other integrated devices to come out between revisions. For example, a new and faster USB interface.
Or, the maker may just come out with an entirely new model that you wish you waited for.
